This site is dedicated to the work I have offered the community as a software developer and consultant, roles I have played since 1980.

During this long journey, I've worked with mainframes, mini and microcomputer based environments, unix and, of course, the ubiquitous Microsoft Windows. In these years, I helped define and developed solutions for several kinds of business, such as industry, retail, finance, government agencies and ISPs, using COBOL, MUMPS, ORACLE DEVELOPER, PERL, JAVA, PHP, VISUAL BASIC, ANSI C and some other, less known, tools.

I'm now strongly commited to open source and java based solutions, which, I believe, play an important strategic role: they can make the money a company spends paying foreign producers for licence fees go to local consultant professionals and service providers, thus staying in the country.
